
MacLean Leads Frogs in Round Two

EL MACERO, Calif. – Junior Turner MacLean shot 2-under 70 to lead the TCU men's golf team in the second round of the El Macero Classic Saturday.
MacLean moved up 28 places to end the day tied for sixth place at 3-over 147. Triston Fisher is one shot behind MacLean at 4-over 148 after shooting 4-over 76 on Saturday and is tied for 11th place.
David Ravetto moved up 17 places after shooting 2-over 74 and is tied for 39th at 10-over 154.
TCU shot 11-over 299 on the day to fall to seventh place for the tournament at 24-over 600. Nevada leads the tournament at 1-under 575.
The Horned Frogs are playing without the No. 24 golfer in the nation, Stefano Mazzoli, who is out with an injury.
TCU will begin the final round on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. CT.
