EL MACERO, Calif. -- After 18 holes on Friday, the TCU men's golf team is in fourth place at the El Macero Classic.
The No. 31-ranked Horned Frogs shot 13-over 301 and are 10 back of the leader, Nevada (+3). TCU is two shots ahead of No. 12 Texas Tech (+15)
Junior Triston Fisher leads TCU after shooting even-par 72 and is tied for third. Junior Pierre Mazier is tied for 10th after shooting 2-over 74.
Junior Turner MacLean shot 5-over 77 and is tied for 34th, while junior Hayden Springer shot 6-over 78 and is tied for 45th.
The Horned Frogs are back in action Saturday at 12:50 p.m. CT at the El Macero Country Club.
