Beneson Earns Conference Monthly Honor

FORT WORTH, Texas – Freshman Alex Beneson has earned her second monthly accolade from the Big 12.

Beneson, a Columbus, Ohio native, earned the Big 12's Rider of the Month accolade for her performance on the Flat in March.

She finished out the regular season with a win against SMU; a 76-70 point ride against her opponent. It earned her the Flat MOP, her first MOP of the season. She finished the regular season with a record of 3-5-0 and an average score of 74.4.

She previously earned the accolade for her performance in February in Equitation over Fences.
