Freshman Alex Beneson earned the Rider of the Month in Equitation over Fences from the Big 12 after finishing the month with a 4-1 record. She earned an MOP for her ride against Fresno State where she defeated her opponent in an 89-85 decision. Her season-high score is an 89 and her regular season record through February was 4-4-1.
Senior Jayme Omand earned Rider of the Month for Equitation on the Flat from both the NCEA and the Big 12 after going 4-0-1 on the month. She earned an MOP for her ride against Fresno State, where she took down her opponent with a 10-point decision, 85-75. Her regular-season record was 10-2-1 through February. She has hit her season-high score of 90 two times this season.
Sophomore Laska Anderson earned Rider of the Month in Horsemanship after finishing February with a record of 4-0-1. She earned MOPs in her discipline twice during the month against Fresno State and UT Martin. Against Fresno State, she defeated her opponent with a close 77-76.5 decision, and against UTM she took down her opponent 73-70.5. Her regular-season record improved to 11-1-1 after the month of February. Her career-high score became a 79 on Feb. 10 against conference foe Baylor.
