TCU Drops Match to No. 3 Duke

FORT WORTH, Texas - Tough competition on Tuesday night proved to be too much for the No. 47 TCU women's tennis team as they dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 3 Duke on the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, Fla.
The Blue Devils (11-1) had only one loss headed into the match and quickly picked up the doubles point over the Horned Frogs (9-6) with wins on courts one and three. TCU came to battle in singles action as No. 120 Aleksa Cveticanin took the first set from No. 7 Samantha Harris on court one, while No. 95 Aleksandra Zenovka went into a tiebreaker with No. 55 Kaitlyn McCarthy on court two. Neither match would have a chance to finish as Duke took straight-set wins on courts three, four and five to clinch the match.
