Team Notes
* With its win and Iowa State's loss at Oklahoma on Wednesday night, TCU has guaranteed itself at least the No. 6 seed at the Big 12 Championships. The Frogs will not play in the tournament's first round on Friday, March 2, and will advance straight to the quarterfinals the next day.
* With two games remaining, TCU can still finish anywhere from third to sixth in the Big 12 standings.
* With 18 wins TCU has its most in a regular season since 2010-11 when the Frogs won 21 in the regular season. The 18 wins are tied for TCU's most in a season overall in its Big 12 era. The Frogs won 18 in three consecutive seasons from 2013-2016.
* TCU's nine Big 12 wins is tied for its most in six seasons in the league. The 2014-15 team went 9-9 and finished in a four-way tie for third place.
* TCU won its seventh game away from home, and its fifth true road game of the season. Those numbers are its most since winning seven true road games and eight away from home in 2010-11.
* TCU completed a season sweep of Texas Tech, its second sweep of the season (Kansas State). TCU is now 10-42 all-time against Texas Tech, but 9-5 since joining the Big 12 in 2012-13.
* TCU's 52 meetings against Texas Tech is the Frogs' second most against any opponent, trailing only SMU who TCU has played 60 times.
* TCU held an opponent to 60 points or less for the seventh time this season and is 7-0 in those games. TCU is 13-1 when holding teams under 70 points.
* TCU held Texas Tech to 38.8 percent (19-of-49) shooting, the fourth time holding a Big 12 opponent under 40 percent this season.
* TCU forced Texas Tech into 22 turnovers, including 14 in the first half and 10 in the second quarter. The 22 is tied for the most by a Big 12 opponent with the 22 Texas Tech had against TCU on Jan. 7 and the 22 West Virginia had in TCU's win in Morgantown on Jan. 13.
* TCU's 11 turnovers were tied for its fewest in a Big 12 game. TCU also had 11 against Oklahoma State on Feb. 7 and Oklahoma on Jan. 27.
* Texas Tech's five second-quarter points and 17 first-half points were tied for the fewest allowed by TCU this season. The Frogs also held Arizona to those totals in a win on Nov. 24.
* With a 46-30 margin, TCU has now scored more bench points than its opponent in 26 consecutive games. The season opener against Oral Roberts is the only game TCU's bench hasn't outscored its opponent.
* TCU had a starting lineup of Amber Ramirez, Toree Thompson, Sydney Coleman, Jayde Woods and Jordan Moore for the second straight game.
