
TCU Has Strong 2nd Round in Cabo

All 5 Horned Frogs lowered their score
San Jose del Cabo, Mexico – All five Horned Frogs lowered their score as No. 25 TCU concluded second-round play Saturday with a sixth-place standing at the Battle at the Beach.
The Horned Frogs shot a 3-over-par 287, improving their score by 11 strokes from Friday's opening round.

The Horned Frogs
Greta Bruner and Valeria Pacheco led TCU with even-par 71s.
Bruner had three birdies, including her final hole, while recording par on 12 holes. The junior from The Woodlands, Texas, is tied for 10th with an even-par 144, six strokes behind leader Kaleigh Telfer of Auburn.
Pacheco parred 16 holes and added a birdie.
Grace Do totaled three birdies in posting a 1-over 72. The sophomore from Coppell, Texas, is tied for 13th at 1-over 145.
Sabrina Iqbal totaled four birdies en route to a 73.
Annika Clark tied Iqbal for team-high honors with four birdies, including three consecutive holes on the front nine.
Yeji Shin, competing as an individual, equaled a TCU career low with a 72. Her three birdies came in a six-hole stretch.
