TCU will end the week at home by welcoming Texas Tech on Saturday afternoon.
FORT WORTH, Texas – The third week of Big 12 action will end on Saturday, Oct. 6 as the TCU volleyball team wraps-up a two-match home stand by welcoming Texas Tech to The Rickel inside the University Recreation Center for a 1 p.m., showdown that is sold out.
The 19th meeting all-time between the Horned Frogs (10-5, 2-2 Big 12) and the Red Raiders (15-3, 4-0 Big 12) will air live on FOX Sports Southwest Plus with Chuck LaMendola and Alexia Heist on the call.
Clear Bag Policy
Only the following items will be permitted upon entrance into TCU athletics facilities:
-Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and not exceeding 14 inches by 14 inches
-One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
-One unopened bottle of water
-Small clutch bags with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags
-The Small clutch bags must be approximately the size of a hand
-Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at stadium/arena gates
-Backpacks, diaper bags and other similar bags will not be allowed

-Allison White is good for 2.05 kills per set and is one of two players hitting over .300 offensively with a .386 hitting clip which is ranked at the top of the conference
-Missy Owens is guiding the offense to 13.38 kills per set with 10.18 assists per set to go along with 1.21 kills per set and 2.10 digs per set
-The Red Raiders are defensively picking up 15.53 digs per set and shutting it down with 2.52 blocks per set

-After going down 2-0 in the match, the TCU volleyball team battled back to force a decisive fifth set but No. 4 Texas proved to be too much as they took a 3-2 (25-23, 25-22, 20-25, 18-25, 15-12) victory on Wednesday night in front of a sold-out crowd
-The Horned Frogs did not falter after the Longhorns took the 2-0 lead and used strong hitting by a pair of rookies, a season-high team digs and nine service aces to take the next two sets and force the fifth set
-After a kill by Katie Clark to put TCU up 12-10 in the final set, Texas used its experience to rattle off five straight points to steal the set and take the match
-Despite the loss, TCU beat Texas in four statistical categories including kills (62 to 61), assists (62 to 60), service aces (9 to 6) and digs (87 to 77)
