Izzy Baxter Shines at Washington International Horse Show

Baxter strong in first day of competition
WASHINGTON, D.C. – TCU equestrian's Izzy Baxter took home first and fifth place at the Washington International Horse Show in Washington, D.C. on Thursday afternoon.
"We are so proud of Izzy's results Thursday night," head hunter seat coach Logan Fiorentino said. "This is an incredible achievement for her. We cannot wait to see how she performs the rest of the weekend and we wish her the best of luck."
The Horned Frog freshman competed in the $5,000 High Junior/Amateur Owner Jumper 1.37m Championship where she rode on Caroquados T and Jahil.
On Caroquados T, Baxter earned first place, while she took fifth on Jahil.
Baxter will be back in action in the same event this afternoon. The Junior/Amateur Owner Jumper competition is the last competition slated to compete today.
