TCU will play OSU, Texas Tech Saturday

HOCKLEY, Texas. – TCU started the inaugural Big 12 Match Play Tournament with a loss to No. 4 seed Kansas Friday at The Clubs at Houston Oaks.

The No. 5 seeded Horned Frogs got wins from freshman Alejandro Aguilera (1UP) and senior Triston Fisher (3&2). Seniors Pierre Mazier (6&4), David Ravetto (2&1) and Hayden Springer (2&1) all lost. Senior Stefano Mazzoli tied with KU's Jake Scarrow.

TCU will play two rounds Saturday, first against top-seeded Oklahoma State, which is also ranked No. 1 in the nation, at 8 a.m. The Frogs will then play No. 8 seed Texas Tech at 1:30 p.m.

TCU will play No. 9 seed West Virginia at 8 a.m. Sunday before facing an opponent from Pool B in the afternoon.
