
Frogs to Host Ice Cream Social on Oct. 30

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU women's basketball team will host its fifth annual Ice Cream Social on Tuesday, Oct. 30. The event will be begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Stuart Family Courtside Club at Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena.The event, hosted by the Fast Break Club and KillerFrogs.com, is free to attend and offers fans a great opportunity to get to know the Horned Frogs. It also allows the Frogs a chance to connect in a meaningful way to the community that supports them.

TCU opens its regular season on Tuesday, Nov. 6, when Duquesne makes the trip to Schollmaier Arena.
TCU returns all five starters from last year's squad which posted 23 wins, its most since 2007-08, en route to advancing to the WNIT Semifinals.
The Horned Frogs earned their first top-25 ranking since 2010, while the nine Big 12 regular-season victories equaled their most in program history. TCU also advanced to the Big 12 Championship semifinal round for the first time.
Among the team's eight total returning players are 2017-18 All-Big 12 Second-Team selection and Sixth Man Award winner Amy Okonkwo, as well as All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honorees Jordan Moore and Kianna Ray.
