* TCU snapped a six-game losing streak to Texas. The Frogs last win was on Feb. 1, 2015, the first game Raegan Pebley coached against the Longhorns. TCU is now 3-39 all-time against Texas with all three wins coming since the Frogs joined the Big 12.

* The win was the sixth in program history over a top-10 team for TCU.
* TCU led by three points entering the fourth quarter for the third time in five Big 12 games (vs West Virginia, at Oklahoma), but won for the first time.
