Okonkwo, a junior forward from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., averaged 18.9 points and 7.0 rebounds per game, including scoring 15 or more points in six of seven games. Throughout December, she shot nearly 60% from the field and over 90% from the free throw line. On Dec. 20, Okonkwo scored a career-high 31 points against Hampton and earned her first career Big 12 Player of the Week. She is majoring in Sports Psychology.
Brodziansky, a senior forward from Prievidza, Slovakia, averaged 10.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks in TCU's games in December, during which the team went 5-1. So far this season, Brodziansky leads the Horned Frogs in blocks and field goal percentage. Brodziansky plans to graduate with a degree in Psychology and is a Senior CLASS Award Candidate.
