
MTEN Preseason Rankings Released

FORT WORTH, Texas – The TCU men's tennis team earned three rankings between singles and doubles in the first Oracle/ITA national poll that was released this week.
All-American Alex Rybakov garnered a top-20 ranking in both singles and doubles as the junior checks in at No. 12 as the highest ranked Big 12 player. Rybakov and senior Guillermo Nuñez pair up for a No. 17 doubles ranking while All-American Reese Stalder earned a spot in the doubles poll at No. 28 with newcomer Alastair Gray.
The selections for the 2017 Saint Francis Health System/ITA Men's All-American Championships were also released with TCU earning a spot in at least one main draw. Rybakov was selected for the main draw in singles, while Stalder, Gray and Trevor Johnson will play in pre-qualifying singles. The pair of Stalder and Gray were the only doubles duo selected as they will start action in qualifying doubles.
The back-to-back reigning Big 12 regular season and tournament champions, TCU returns four letterwinners from the 2016-17 season that saw the team advance to the Elite 8 and earn a final Oracle/ITA of No. 8. Two All-American headline the squad this season that will be under the direction of head coach David Roditi who is in his eighth season.
