Mazier Leads Frogs at Southern Highlands

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Sophomore Pierre Mazier led the TCU men's golf team to a 14th place finish at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Wednesday in Las Vegas, Nev.
Mazier shot 4-over 76 in the final round to shoot 5-over 221 for the tournament and finished tied for 29th place.
As a team, TCU shot 23-over 311 on Wednesday and 37-over 901 for the tournament. In a loaded field with 12 of the 15 teams ranked in the top 50 nationally, the Frogs finished ahead of No. 22 San Diego State. No. 7 ranked USC won the event at 11-under par 853.
Senior Chelso Barrett led the Frogs with four birdies in the final round and shot a team-best 1-over 73 on Wednesday. He finished tied for 34th overall at 7-over 223.
