* TCU played in a conference tournament semifinal game for the first time since the 2000 WAC Tournament.
* The Horned Frogs' 19 wins are their most since winning 21 games in their NIT season of 2004-05. The 19 victories are a seven-game improvement for TCU over last season.
* TCU won two games in a conference tournament for the first time since winning three games en route to reaching the 1997 WAC championship game.
* TCU is now 4-5 all-time in its Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship history.
* The Horned Frogs dropped the season series 2-1 to Iowa State.
* TCU started a lineup of Jaylen Fisher, Alex Robinson, Kenrich Williams, JD Miller and Vladimir Brodziansky for the 23rd time in 34 games this season.
* Eleven of the 13 Horned Frogs who saw action scored.
Individual Notes
* Brandon Parrish played in his 131st career game, extending his TCU record.
* Parrish had two 3-pointers to give him five consecutive games with multiple treys after not having any in the previous four contests.
* Alex Robinson's five assists gave him 190 on the year. He passed Ronnie Moss (189, 2009-10) to move into fifth on TCU's single-season list. Next on the chart is Prince Fowler in fourth place with 200 (1997-98).
* Vladimir Brodziansky's 10 points put him in double figures for a team-best 25th time this season.
* Brodziansky was the lone Horned Frog to score in double figures in all three games versus Iowa State this season.
* Kenrich Williams had eight boards to lead TCU in rebounding for a team-best 25th time this season.
* Williams had five assists for the second straight game, one shy of career-high of six set twice and most recently in a Feb. 4 win over Texas.
* Karviar Shepherd's eight points were his most since scoring 11 in a Feb. 1 win at Kansas State.
* Jaylen Fisher had two 3-pointers to give him multiple treys in five of his last six games. He has at least one 3-pointer in 19 of the last 20 contests.
* Austin Sottile had two points to reach the scoring column for the first time since Dec. 18 versus Texas Southern.
* Dalton Dry had a free-throw for his first points since Nov. 14 against Alabama State.
* TCU's Jamie Dixon dropped to 16-12 as a head coach in conference tournaments.
