Originally from Saint-Raphael, France, Mazier finished tied for 13th place to lead the TCU men's golf team to an 11th-place finish at the Ameri Ari Tournament in Waikoloa, Hawaii this past weekend. The sophomore shot 4-under 68 in the final round to finish 8-under 208 for the tournament. Both the round and tournament totals were career bests for the Mazier.
Up next, the Horned Frogs will tee off at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, Calif. on Feb. 17-19.
Alix, a native of Houston, scored 22 points in the second half to push the TCU women's basketball team to a season sweep of Kansas with an 80-68 win at Lawrence over the weekend. Alix's 18 points in the third quarter, six in less than ten seconds, helped TCU pull ahead for good.
The Frogs return home on Wednesday to play Texas Tech for the first time this season. The Frogs and Red Raiders will tip off at 7 p.m. inside Schollmaier Arena in a game that will be broadcast on FOX Sports Southwest.
