Rybakov, a sophomore from Florida, was named the 2016 ITA National Men's Rookie of the Year. This past weekend, Rybakov moved to 2-0 on the season at the top position in singles as he easily put away Utah State's Kai Wehnelt, 6-0, 6-1. He also earned a win in doubles with Guillermo Nuñez as the two put away the match, 6-3. Against Pacific, Rybakov defeated Tadiwa Chinamo, 6-4, 6-4, to clinch the win for the Horned Frogs. Along with Nuñez, the duo also earned a 6-2 win in doubles.
Next, TCU will welcome Midwestern State for a match on Tuesday, Feb. 7 on the Bernard J. 'Tut' Bartzen Varsity Courts. Action will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Morgan, a senior and a birthday girl this past weekend, won both her points in western and rode to a 3-2 success in Horsemanship. Morgan earned MOP honors in her ride against Baylor's Kelsie Holman.
The Frogs were victorious in both Horsemanship and Equitation on the Flat. Next, TCU Equestrian heads to Springtown in February to go head-to-head with the Fresno State Bulldogs.
