Two Freshman Ranked Among Best

Dec. 22, 2017 FORT WORTH – TopDrawerSoccer.com released its Freshman Top 100 in which TCU soccer has two representatives. Yazmeen Ryan was tabbed No. 45, while Tijana Djuricek was ranked No. 62. The Horned Frogs had the most representatives on the list in the Big 12.
Ryan had an outstanding debut season tying for third with four goals, five assists and 13 points. Two of her four goals stood up as game-winners. The postseason accolades have been plenty for Ryan as she was tabbed a second-team All-Conference performer and third-team all-South Regional in addition to earning a spot on the Big 12 All-Freshman squad.
Djuricek started every match this season and ranked second on the team with 2,058 minutes played. She played the entirety of 20 out of 22 matches in her rookie season. Djuricek contributed one goal and three assists on the season. She was a member of the Big 12 All-Freshman squad.
