Team Notes
* Tipoff was moved from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. after TCU had a delay in leaving Fort Worth. TCU arrived in Des Moines, Iowa, at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday and arrived in Ames at 2 p.m.
* TCU held Iowa State to 27.9 percent (19-of-68) overall, its best effort in Big 12 play this season. It is the second best in TCU's Big 12 history, second barely to the 27.6 percent that TCU held Kansas to last season, also on the road.
* TCU lost for just the second time this season when shooting a better field goal percentage than its opponent (at LSU). TCU is 8-2 in such games.
* TCU held a 30-18 advantage in paint scoring and lost for just the second time this season when recording more points in the paint than its opponent (Texas A&M). TCU is 10-2 in such games.

* TCU shot over 75.0 percent from the free throw line for the seventh straight game, but took its fewest attempts during that span. TCU hit 10-of-13 for 76.9 percent. TCU came in averaging over 22 free throw attempts a game in Big 12 play.
* The all-time series between TCU and Iowa State is now tied, 6-6. TCU is now 6-4 against Iowa State since joining the Big 12 in 2012-13.

Individual Notes
* Toree Thompson scored 17 points, a TCU career high. It was her sixth game scoring in double figures this season with five coming in Big 12 play. Thomson scored 14 in the first half.
* Jada Butts scored 14 points, her 10th game in double figures this season and the 29th of her career. Butts scored 11 in the second half.
* Amy Okonkwo scored 12 points, her 13th game in double figures this season. Okonkwo scored 11 points in the first half.
* Jordan Moore scored 10 points, her 10th game in double figures this season and the 20th of her career. Moore scored all 10 of her points in the second half.
* AJ Alix hit two 3-pointers and remains in ninth place on TCU's career leaderboard with 134 career 3-pointers. She is two makes from moving into a tie for eighth place.
