FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were recognized by the College Swimming Coaches of America (CSCAA) for their accomplishments in the classroom during the previous semester. Both teams garnered CSCAA Scholar All-America team honors.
The women’s team posted a cumulative GPA of 3.41 in the fall. The figure ranked second-highest among Division I schools from Texas, behind only SMU (3.53). The team's latest honor marks the 45th-straight semester with CSCAA recognition.
On the men's side, the Frogs produced the highest GPA in the Big 12 at 3.08. The men's effort trails only Incarnate Word (3.14) in the state of Texas for Division I schools.
To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a grade point average of 3.00 or higher over the fall semester.
