After finishing up her final year of eligibility, King was able to score the IMG Nike Internship in Portland, Ore., for the summer. As the first TCU student-athlete chosen for this prestigious internship, King has been hard at work during the week and then having fun at various activities all throughout Oregon. King was also able to enjoy some Davis Cup competition and Portland soccer, as well as scenic hikes and white water rafting in her spare time.
TCU returns all but one letterwinner from the 2016 season that saw the Horned Frogs finish in a tie for second in the Big 12 Conference and advance to the second round of the NCAA Championship for the second straight season.
