FORT WORTH – Dane Steinhagen drew a bases loaded walk to send TCU to a 12-11 10 inning victory over USC on Saturday. The victory stretches TCU's winning streak to five games.
The Rundown
The game was a see-saw battle from the first inning on. TCU took a 1-0 lead on a two-out single from Luken Baker. USC battled back to take a 2-1 lead in the second.
TCU came back to tie the game in the bottom of the frame on a Michael Landestoy two-out single.
After USC struck for a trio of runs on five hits in the top of the fourth, TCU used two-out fireworks to get the game knotted at five. Austen Wade singled with two out and Cam Warner launched his second home run of the season to pull the Frogs within one. Two pitches later, Evan Skoug joined the home run party with his first of the season to tie the game.
TCU exploded for five runs in the sixth to take a 10-5 lead. Skoug put the Frogs on top with a bases loaded double that drove in two. A wild pitch followed by an Elliott Barzilli base hit pushed the lead to four, 9-5. Landestoy collected his second RBI of the game with a bases-loaded walk.
USC fought back with a five spot of its own in the eighth. A two-run double from Lars Nootbaar and a base hit from AJ Ramirez tied the game. Brian Trieglaff (1-0) left the bases loaded to keep the game tied at 10.
The Trojans took the lead in the top of the 10th on back-to-back one out doubles.
TCU once again rallied and walked-off with the victory. Skoug led off the frame with a double and scored on a Barzilli sacrifice fly. With the bases loaded, Dane Steinhagen walked to send the Frogs to victory.

Quotes of the Game
Head Coach Jim Schlossnagle
"I thought we did a good job of not trying to do too much in the 10th inning. There's a tendency there with those guys to want to be the guy who wins it. You had two pitchers out there that weren't commanding the strike zone. One of the things we talk about is trust the guy behind you. If you don't get your pitch, that's okay, move on to the next pitch. (Evan) Skoug leading the inning off with a double was big. We just did a good job of competing."
"In order to have a great season you have to win games in different ways. This team was able to pick up the pitching staff today."
