FORT WORTH – For the first time in program history, the No. 3 TCU women's rifle team will host a conference championship. Members of the Patriot Rifle Conference will descend on the TCU Rifle Range for the third annual PRC Championships.
Last season, the Horned Frogs took home the air rifle championship en route to a second place overall finish. In the inaugural season of the PRC in 2014, TCU finished third.
Heading to Fort Worth will be Air Force, Alaska, Nevada, Ohio State and UTEP. Saturday will feature the smallbore portion of the championships. The event will be split into three relays beginning at 8:15 a.m. with the final set for 4 p.m. On Sunday, the championships will conclude with air rifle. The first of three relays will get underway at 7:45 a.m. with the final coming at 1:15.
