Heckendorn Receives Postseason Honor

FORT WORTH – TCU women's soccer junior Emma Heckendorn was named to the NSCAA All-Central Region third team after putting together a career-year on the soccer pitch. Her efforts helped lead TCU to its first-ever berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Heckendorn, a first-team all-Big 12 performer, started 19 games and led the team with 53 shots, 23 of which were on goal. She scored three goals and set a TCU single-season record with nine assists. Her 15 points on the season ranked fourth on the squad.
She is the third Horned Frog in program history to earn a postseason accolade from the NSCAA and the second under the guidance of head coach Eric Bell. Jordan Calhoun was honored in 2008, while Bobbi Clemmer was recognized in 2014.
