Opening Statement
"Credit to Oklahoma. I feel like in the second half -- really the entire game -- they were the more physical team, and it paid off for them in the end. They sustained effort longer than we did. There's a lot of good things out of our team. Turnovers for us were really costly, and they made us pay for them fast. They are a good team. There's not a single team in the Big 12 that you could feel comfortable with a lead -- not until that final buzzer."
On the defense...
"I think they collapsed our defense, and we got into rotations. They are very physical on the boards. I think they had 22 points off offensive rebounds in the second half, and that was something we talked about at halftime. It's a Big 12 thing. It's a high-level thing. You've got to take care of rebounding. A defense isn't a defense if you don't rebound."
On the game and moving forward...
"It's disappointing that we had done enough for significant periods of the game to not be able to finish the job, but this will be a game that we get better from. We will get wins because of this game. There's opportunities for us to gain confidence, there's opportunities for us to learn, and we'll turn this mistake into motivation."

"I would like to be able to explain to you guys what happened, but I'm not really sure. We were less than stellar for three quarters, and then in the fourth quarter we played hard, we played together, we were connected, and I think you saw a will -- a refuse to lose mentality. That's probably more important to build on that than it would be a hot shooting night or something that is a little less difficult to get to. That will to win is pretty strong, and when you know you have that, regardless of the situation, you've got something pretty special. They figured it out, and I give them all the credit. It had zero to do with what I said at a timeout break. It was them together deciding to play for each other and refusing to lose."
On TCU...
"TCU is a really good team. There are going to be so many team in our league that come in here and do not survive. [TCU] is very hard to guard, and they're going to win a lot of ball games."
