Team Records, Game Notables and Series Information
• TCU falls to 11-8 on the season with a 3-5 record in Big 12 Conference play. West Virginia improves to 16-5 on the season with a 5-2 mark in Big 12 Conference play.
• West Virginia leads the all-time series 9-1.
Team Notes
• TCU scored a season-best 61 points in the second half while shooting 57.9 percent from the field and 7-of-15 from behind the three-point arc in the second half.
• TCU's 11 three-point field goals marked the 11th time in Pebely era that TCU has hit at least 10 three-point field goals. • West Virginia converted on 13-of-23 shots in the second quarter and closed the period on a 29-5 run after TCU pulled within three at 21-18 with 7:26 remaining in the second quarter.
• West Virginia hit eight of its final nine shots of the first quarter.
• TCU is now 0-6 against ranked teams during the 2015-16 season but the Horned Frogs have faced three different teams ranked in the top 6 nationally this season.
• TCU has played four ranked teams in its last six games before it embarks on a three-game road swing.
Individual Notes
• Senior Zahna Medley moved into sole possession of third place on the all-time TCU scoring list during today's game after scoring 16 points.
o Medley's basket with 4:49 left in the third quarter tied Ross' mark of 1,725 career points.
o Medley's basket as part of a three-point play with 6:59 left in the fourth quarter allowed her to surpass the mark. o Medley now has 283 career three-point field goals, good for second on the TCU career list and seventh on the Big 12 Conference career list.
o Medley is now two points shy of moving into 30th place on the Big 12's all-time scoring list.
• Sophomore AJ Alix had a career high 26 points, besting the 24 point effort she had against No. 12/12 Texas A&M earlier this season. o Alix also had eight assists in the game,
• Junior Jada Butts made her first start since Dec. 12, 2015 against Notre Dame. It was her 11th start of the season and 15th of her career.
o Butts scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds with four assists and five steals in the game.
o Butts reached double figures for the 11th time in her career and seventh time this season. o Butts' five steals tied a career high.
• Senior Veja Hamilton came off the bench for the first time since Jan. 14, 2015 when she didn't start at Texas Tech.
Coaching Notes
• In her second year at TCU, head coach Raegan Pebley is now 29-22 as the leader of the Horned Frogs. She is now 185-197 in 13 seasons as a head coach.
• Pebley falls to 2-9 against ranked teams as the TCU head coach.
