TCU Announces Athletes of the Week

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU tennis programs sweep the Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week accolades as Cameron Norrie and Simona Parajova earn the honors after their recent performances.
Norrie, a freshman from Auckland, New Zealand, advanced to the elite eight of the 2015 NCAA Men's Tennis Division I Singles Championship. In the round of 16, he defeated No. 14 Mikelis Libietis of Tennessee 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 to become the second Horned Frog in program history to accomplish the feat. The win marked 12 straight and 12 overall against ranked opponents this season.
Parajova, a senior from Zvolen, Slovakia, advanced to the round of 32 on the women's side last week. She picked up a victory of 6-2, 6-3 over No. 55 Lauren Marker of Arizona as they took part in her first singles bracket of her career. With the win, she had also rattled off 12 in a row, improving to 25-4 this season.
