FORT WORTH - With two outs in the top of the ninth, game two of TCU's doubleheader against Santa Clara was suspended due to lightning. The Horned Frogs were leading 6-1 at the time of the delay.

TCU pushed across six runs in the first three innings of the ballgame. The big inning was a four-run second inning that broke the game open. Mitchell Traver started for the Frogs and tossed five scoreless innings. Brian Trieglaff took over in the sixth and was on the mound when the game was delayed.
The game will be resumed on Sunday beginning at 12:30. Game three of the series will follow 20 minutes after the completion of game two.
