TCU Men's Golf Closes Play in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. - The TCU men's golf team closed play at the National Invitational Tournament on Tuesday with a seventh-place finish at the Catalina Course.
The Horned Frogs gained a spot in the final round with an 8-over 296, marking the third-lowest round of the day. TCU has now finished in the top 10 in all seven tournaments this season.
Sophomore Chelso Barrett fired an even-par 72 to finish sixth overall at 1-under, marking his third top-10 finish of the season. Monday's round was the 11th of par or better this season for the Keene, N.H., native.
Senior Andrew Presley also carded a 72 in the final round, rolling in four birdies on the day.
Sophomore Giulio Castagnara registered a 3-over 75 to close play in 30th overall, his fourth top-30 finish of the season, while junior Paul Barjon also finished in a tie for 30th at 5-over for the tournament.
Senior Julien Brun rounded out the scoring for TCU with a 5-over 77.
The Horned Frogs return to action on March 9-11 at the Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas, Nev.
