Horned Frogs Finish Seventh in Puerto Rico

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico -- Alexandra Bonetti carded a 2-under-par 70 as the Horned Frogs finished seventh after Tuesday's final round of the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
Bonetti birdied her opening hole as part of three birdies on the front nine and four on the day.
A senior from Paris, France, Bonetti tied for eighth for her fourth career top-10 finish. The 70 marked her best round since a career-low 67 at the 2013 PING/Arizona State Invitational.
Kelly McGovern recorded her second-straight 75 to finish at 4-over 220 and a tie for 13th. It was a season-best result for the sophomore from The Woodlands, Texas.
Kortnie Maxoutopoulis birdied her opening hole, one of two birdies on the day, en route to a 76.
Chaney Uhles added a 77 for the Horned Frogs. The Fort Worth native lowered her score in each round of the tournament.
Arkansas captured the team title with a 12-over 876, seven strokes ahead of LSU. With a 7-under 209, Iowa State's Chonlada Chayanun was the individual medalist.
TCU returns to action March 13 at the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz.
