TCU Men’s Basketball is slated to open their 2015-16 campaign at home against Southeastern Louisiana. Coming off a season that saw many highlights, including a top-25 national ranking, the Horned Frogs will look to build upon their recent success and make some more noise both nationally and within the conference in 2015-16. Last season saw the program jump into the national spotlight prior to the start of conference play after beginning the year 13-0. When it was all said and done, TCU was one of only six teams in the entire nation to start the year 13-0, joining the likes of Final Four participant Kentucky, National Champion Duke, Colorado State, Virginia and Villanova.
TCU Women’s Basketball opens the 2015-16 season on Friday, Nov. 13 against Sam Houston State in Fort Worth, the first of eight non-conference games at home for TCU this season. The non-conference slate includes a road contest at Texas A&M and a home matchup with 2015 national finalist Notre Dame in the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena on Saturday, Dec. 12. TCU returns three starters and nine letterwinners from last year's 18-14 squad (9-9, Big 12) that reached the Postseason Women's NIT and won its first postseason game since 2008. The team is led by senior All-Big 12 selection Zahna Meldey – one of the nation’s top active leading scorers.
