Competition Continues for TCU at Zone Diving

MINNEAPOLIS -- In Day two action of the NCAA Div. I Men's and Women's Zone D Diving Championship Tuesday at the University Aquatics Center that the University of Minnesota, Ricky Bradley placed 30th in the preliminaries in the men's 1-meter (270.00).
Also Tuesday, Frogs Kristen Connolly and Lauren Mikulecky placed 38th and 46th, respectively in the women's 3-meter with scores of 235.90 and 194.15.
On Day One Monday, Bradley also finished 30th in the 3-meter (279.85).
Final-day action is Wednesday with the men's and women's platform. The Zone D meet is one of five: Blacksburg, Va. (March 10-12); Greensboro, N.C. (March 10-12); Columbus, Ohio (March 13-15) and Colorado Springs, Colo. (March 13-15).
A total of 41 women (nine from the Zone D meet) and 35 men (seven from the Zone D meet) will earn a spot at the NCAA Championships to be held later in the month.
In addition to TCU and host Minnesota, student-athletes from Iowa State; Texas; Kansas; Missouri State; Centenary College; LSU; Rice; Saint Louis; South Dakota State; SMU; Missouri State; Texas A&M; Tulane; Arkansas; Arkansas-Little Rock; Houston; Iowa; Missouri; Nebraska; North Texas; Northern Iowa; Wisconsin; Wisconsin-Green Bay; and Wisconsin-Milwaukee are competing in the event.
