Tan into Semifinals at ITA All-Americas

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU women's tennis student-athlete Stefanie Tan is into the semifinals of main draw singles consolation bracket at the 2013 Riveria/ITA All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
Tan will compete against Brianna Morgan of Florida at 1:45 p.m., CT for a chance to play in the finals against either Chanelle Van Nguyen of UCLA or No. 3 seed Julia Elbaba of Virginia.
Tan made it to the semifinals after falling in the opening round of the main draw bracket to Emina Bektas of Michigan (7-5, 6-0), before defeating Nadia Ravita of Kentucky (6-0, 6-1) in the second round of the consolation bracket to make it to the semi-finals today.
Simona Parajova was also in action at the championships, but fell to Bianca Sanon of Columbia in the opening round of the qualifying draw 7-5, 6-0.
