SEAT SELECTION UPDATE
We continue to make great progress in our reseating of Amon G. Carter Stadium. As we concluded our second week on Friday, approximately 1,400 of our 6,000 season-ticket accounts had been accommodated. Roughly 8,000 seats, or just less than six tickets per account, had been sold thus far. Our Frog Club and Ticket Office staffs have very much enjoyed working with everyone through this very unique process. It's not often you reseat an entire facility. Please keep the feedback coming to us. It's extremely helpful and much appreciated.
DEADLINE NEARING
Please note that Sunday is the deadline for club seat payments. If you have any questions, please contact our Frog Club office at (817) 257-7700 or email frogclub@tcu.edu.
PARKING REMINDER
Friday's deadline for Frog Club donor parking is rapidly approaching. All parking lots are reserved exclusively for Frog Club members, and you must be a 2012 TCU football season-ticket holder to secure your 2012 parking. You can make your parking gift at the following LINK. You can also click HERE to view the 2012 football donor parking map. If you wish to renew parking at a gift amount less than what is shown on your parking renewal form, please call the Frog Club office at (817) 257-7700 instead of utilizing the online submission. For more information, our Frog Club office can be reached at (817) 257-7700 or via email at frogclub@tcu.edu.
ON THE CONSTRUCTION FRONT
In case you haven't noticed, the first set of bleachers is being installed in the upper deck on the west side of Amon G. Carter Stadium. The east side steel and seating pre-cast pieces continue to arrive and install. All super structure will be completed by the end of April. The football locker room work is in the sheet rock stages. Mid-April becomes an important date for the sports medicine center as the new HydroWorx treadmill whirlpools and the cold and hot plunge arrive. It will allow those spaces to quickly catch up with interior walls and floor finishes.
FACES IN THE CROWD
Make sure to pick up a copy of the current Sports Illustrated. For the second time in three weeks, we have a student-athlete included in Faces in the Crowd. In both cases, it's a national champion. On the heels of track and field's Whitney Gipson making the list, we now have rifle's Sarah Scherer included. Click HERE to see the online version. Sarah will also be representing TCU and Fort Worth in London this summer as a member of the United States Olympic Rifle Team.
HONORING THE CHAMPS
Our national championship rifle program will be honored at Friday's 6:30 p.m. home baseball game with UNLV. Please join us in paying tribute to head coach Karen Monez and her student-athletes on their second national title in three years.
TWEET UP
To encourage interaction with us through Twitter, we're in the midst of our TweetUp Week. If you're not already, you should follow @TCU_Athletics and use the hashtag #TCUTweetUp to participate and have the chance to win great prizes. You can promote TCU Athletics all week and interact with @TCU_Athletics by asking and answering questions, retweeting @TCU_Athletics and using #TCUTweetUp in your tweets. Prizes include unique TCU t-shirts, autographed posters and tickets to Friday's 6:30 p.m. baseball game versus UNLV. Twitter followers will also be able to vote on music at the game and submit photos for the chance to be displayed on the video board. In addition, two random fans who promote TCU Athletics with quality, positive tweets using #TCUTweetUp during the game will each win a $50 gift card to shop at GoFrogs.com.
