* TCU dropped to 13-9 overall and 3-4 in Mountain West play.
* Kyan Anderson scored a career-high 22 points for his second 20-point effort of the season. He previously scored 20 Jan. 18 at No. 14 UNLV.
* Hank Thorns, who dished out four assists, cracked TCU's career assists top-10 chart, moving into the No. 9 position after passing by former Frogs Brent Atwater (321; 1992-93) and Ronnie Moss (323; 2008-11). Thorns now has 324 career helpers.

* TCU's 60.9 percent field-goal shooting rate in the first half marked its best figure for an opening period this season and its second-best for any half.
* San Diego State became the 10th TCU opponent to shoot at least 50 percent from the field overall against the Frogs.
