South Padre Island, Texas (South Padre Island Convention Center)
Nov. 23, 2012
* TCU fell to 4-2 overall, snapping the squad's two-game winning streak.
* TCU's 31 points tied for the eighth-fewest in a game in school history and the fewest since a 26-22 loss to SMU on Feb. 14, 1956.
* TCU has held five of its six opponents this season to a field-goal percentage under 40.0 percent.
* Northwestern is the first opponent to outshoot TCU so far this season.
* TCU did not make a 3-pointer, snapping a streak of 443 consecutive games with at least one trey that dated back to a Nov. 22, 1997 home win over LIU-Brooklyn. The streak was the third-longest among teams in the Big 12.
* TCU's 14 first-half points marked the fourth-fewest ever scored in an opening period by a Horned Frog squad.
* Devonta Abron led TCU in scoring and rebounds for the second straight contest. He also reached double figures in points for the second time this season.
* Abron is the only Frog to lead the team in scoring more than once through the team's first six games.
