* TCU dropped to 12-8 overall and 2-3 in the Mountain West standings while seeing a two-game winning streak come to an end.
* Hank Thorns recorded the 500th assist of his career with his fourth helper of the game on a 3-pointer by Kyan Anderson with 15:00 remaining in the second half. He now has 502 career assists after finishing the game with six.
* Amric Fields led TCU in scoring for the third time this season with 16 points. He hit a career-high four 3-pointers on seven attempts.
* J.R. Cadot led TCU in rebounding for the team-leading ninth time this season with nine boards.
* Cadot's eight first-half rebounds surpassed his rebounding high from the last six games.
* Cadot's 12 free-throw attempts tied a career high set twice previously this season against Lamar (Nov. 30) and Texas Tech (Dec. 6).
