Individual Notes
*Today's victory gave TCU head coach Gary Patterson his 99th career win against just 29 losses.
*TCU had three defensive players (linebacker Kenny Cain, safety Trent Thomas and cornerback Kevin White) make their first career starts today.
*Casey Pachall's completion percentage of 80.0 percent (20-0f-25) tied former Frog signal caller Tye Gunn for the eighth-best single-game rate in TCU history. Gunn went 12-of-15 against Army in 2002.
*Pachall's 11 consecutive completions to start the game tied Andy Dalton (vs. Baylor, 2010) for second all-time in most consecutive completions at TCU. The Horned Frog record is 14 by Jeff Ballard against San Diego State in 2006.
*Matthew Tucker rushed for 95 yards Saturday on 16 carries. He totaled two rushing touchdowns in a game for the fourth time in his career.
*Tucker's first-half touchdown runs of 1 and 3 yards gave him two straight games with a rushing score. He now has 18 career rushing touchdowns, tops among active Horned Frogs.
*Luke Shivers' 3-yard first-quarter touchdown reception was his 10th career score (eight rushing, two receiving) on just 21 touches.

*Evans had two touchbacks to give him four on the season.
*Defensive end Stansly Maponga forced a fumble for the second straight game with Trent Thomas recording his first career fumble recovery.

*Waymon James' 4-yard third-quarter scoring run was his first touchdown of the season and sixth of his career.
