FORT WORTH, Texas -The TCU baseball team's season-long 13-game homestand continues Wednesday night when the Horned Frogs host Stephen F. Austin. First pitch for the contest is set for 6:30 p.m. at Lupton Stadium.TCU NOTABLES
TCU rebounded from a tough loss on Friday night to win the next two, securing its fifth series win of the season.
Friday night's loss broke a string of 86 straight victories when leading after eight. The streak dated back to the 2009 campaign.
Brance Rivera extended his hitting streak to 23 games, the longest streak in Coach Schlossnagle's tenure.
Rivera's .427 batting average ranks third in the league.
Aaron Schultz blasted his second career grand slam on Sunday. He is working a nine-game hitting streak.
Andrew Mitchell lowered his ERA to 0.60, a mark that is tops in the league as well.
TCU leads the league with a 2.27 ERA, 188 strikeouts and a .208 batting average against.
