TCU moved to 22-10 overall and went 2-1 against Utah this season.
TCU played in the Mountain West Conference Tournament final for the first time in program history Saturday.
TCU held Utah to only 12 points in the second half, which is the second-fewest second half points allowed in program history.
Utah's 12 second half points were the fewest in championship history.
The two teams combined for only 34 points in the second half, which is No. 1 all-time in fewest combined second half points in program history.
Player Notes
Helena Sverrisdottir scored in double-figures for the 26th game this season.
Emily Carter and Sverrisdottir were named to the all-tournament team.
Delisa Gross scored in double-figures for the ninth time this season.
Gross scored 10 points, which is the most she has scored in a single-game since the opening game of February.
Sverrisdottir remains two rebounds shy of moving into No. 2 all-time in career rebounds with 816.
Sverrisdottir is now tied with Sandora Irvin for No. 4 all-time in career steals with 224.
Carter moved into No. 5 all-time in games played with 127 for her career.
Carter has now started 91 games, which is No. 6 all-time in program history.
Rachel Rentschler moved into No. 6 all-time in games played with 126.
