Team Notes
TCU moved to 22-9 overall with its semifinal win over New Mexico.
The Horned Frogs will play in the Mountain West Conference Tournament finals for the first time in program history.
TCU will now play in a conference tournament final for the first time since 2005.
TCU won for the first time in semifinal action in five tries.
By winning 61-40, the Frogs posted the third-largest margin of victory in tournament history.
New Mexico had no player score in double-figures Friday night.
TCU's 46 rebounds is a new semifinal record and the second-most in tournament history.
Player Notes
Helena Sverrisdottir moved into No. 2 all-time in career points with 1,738 points.
Sverrisdottir moved into No. 3 all-time in career attempts.
Sverrisdottir scored over 20 + points for the ninth-time this season.
Sverrisdottir led TCU in scoring for the 10th game Friday.
Micah Garoutte tied a season-high with 10 points Friday.
Garoutte's five field goals made were also a season-high.
Rachel Rentschler's 10 boards were a season-high.
