FORT WORTH - Baseball's Jimmie Pharr and basketball's Starr Crawford are the TCU Athletes of the Week, it was announced Tuesday.

The Flower Mound, Texas, senior tallied two extra-base hits with a double in the series opener and a triple in the second game of the series. His efforts, including catching 14 innings in the series finale, helped TCU to a 2-1 record to open the season.
Crawford poured in 18 points on 9-of-14 shooting, including 12 in the first half, in TCU's 61-53 win over Colorado State on Feb. 16. She also added a game-high seven rebounds in just 27 minutes of action.
Against BYU on the following Saturday, Crawford netted 13 points and hauled in 15 rebounds. The sophomore from Arlington, Texas, was 5-of-6 at the free throw line.
