FLUSHING, N.Y. - TCU's Millie Nichols and Olivia Smith advanced to the consolation semifinals Friday at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships inside the USTA-Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
The Horned Frog tandem notched an 8-6 triumph at the expense of Columbia's Nicole Bartnik and Crystal Leung. For the fall, Nichols and Smith are 8-2 as doubles partners.
Nichols and Smith take on Robin Anderson and Skylar Morton of UCLA in tomorrow's consolation semifinal match.
