Frog Duo Stumbles at National Indoor Championships

FLUSHING, N.Y. - TCU's Millie Nichols and Olivia Smith fell Thursday in the Round of 16 at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships at the USTA-Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
The Frog tandem fell to the third-ranked team in the nation, Northwestern's Nida Hamilton and Linda Abu Mushrefova, 8-2. It is only the second loss of the fall for Nichols and Smith as doubles partners.
Nichols and Smith move on to the consolation draw of at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships. That draw will be available later Thursday and play will continue Friday.
