POSTGAME NOTES
Ole Miss 80, TCU 69
St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. (UVI Sports Fitness Center)
Nov. 21, 2011
* TCU's season record dropped to 3-2 with the loss.
* J.R. Cadot recorded his fourth career double-double and the second overall this season by a Frog with 18 points and game-high 12 rebounds. He fell just one point and one rebound shy of matching respective career-high totals.
* The 18 points scored by both Cadot and Fields were the most for a Frog this season, while Cadot's 12 boards and Hank Thorns' five steals also marked TCU season highs.
* TCU fell to 0-2 this season when trailing at the half. The Frogs are 3-0 when leading at intermission.
* The Frogs continued to force opponents into first-half mistakes. Ole Miss became the fifth TCU opponent in five games this season to amass at least 13 first-half turnovers.
* Led by Cadot's efforts on the glass, TCU set a season high with 15 offensive rebounds. Its previous best was 13 against both Austin College and Norfolk State.
* Ole Miss (60.0 percent) became the second team in TCU's opening five games to shoot 60 percent or better from the field against the Frogs for the game. Florida Gulf Coast shot 61.4 percent in TCU's season opener Nov. 11 in Fort Worth.
