- The contest marked TCU's first overtime game since a 108-99 three-overtime victory over Texas State on Nov. 24, 2009.
- TCU featured its 11th different starting lineup this season in guards Hank Thorns, Greg Hill and J.R. Cadot and forwards Amric Fields and Nikola Cerina.
