- TCU dropped to 10-11 overall and 1-5 in the MWC. The Frogs fell below the .500 mark for the first time this season.
- Utah shot 61.5 percent in the first half. Each of the Frogs' last five opponents has shot 54 percent or better in at least one half of play.
- Hank Thorns scored a team-best 18 points, matching the career high he set during the Jan. 2 loss at Rice.
- Thorns also led TCU in rebounds (six) and assists (six). It marked only the second time he has led the Frogs in boards, as well as the second consecutive game. The effort marked the first time this season a Frog led the squad in points, rebounds and assists.
- Nikola Cerina scored a season-high 14 points, the fourth time this season and third time in the last six contests he has reached double figures.
- TCU's six blocked shots marked a season high.
- TCU finished with only seven turnovers, its second-fewest giveaways this season.
