Frogs Finish Fifth Overall at Isleworth Collegiate Invitational

WINDERMERE, Fla. - The TCU men's golf team posted a season-best fifth overall showing at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational following a third round score of 306 on Tuesday afternoon at the Isleworth County Club in Windermere, Fla.
The Frogs posted a 54-hole score of 895 (290-299-306) at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational and tied with Oklahoma State for fifth overall. Alabama captured the tournament crown with a three-round score of 884 while LSU (886), Florida (894), Stanford (894), TCU (895) and Oklahoma State (895).
Tom Hoge posted his best finish of the season as the TCU senior tied for 14th overall following a 54-hole total of 222 (70-76-76). Johan de Beer finished tied for 16th overall as the TCU sophomore notched a score of 223 (78-70-75), including a 1-over-par score over the final 36 holes of action.
Daniel Jennevret notched a three round score of 226 (70-76-80) en route to tying for 26th overall. Eli Cole finished tied for 37th overall with a score of 229 (77-77-75) while Pontus Gad recorded a three round tally of 230 (73-77-80) en route to finishing tied for 44th overall.
Following the fifth-place showing at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational, the Frogs concluded the fall portion of their schedule. TCU will return to the links on Feb. 2 at the UH Hilo Intercollegiate set to be held in Kona, Hawai'i.
