Team Notes
*TCU is 8-0 for the second straight year and third time in the last eight seasons.
*TCU extended its school-record regular-season winning streak to 21 games. The Horned Frogs have won 22 of their last 23 contests overall and are 34-3 in their last 37 games.
*In four Mountain West Conference games this season, TCU has outscored its opponents 141-10.
*Air Force's touchdown with 6:36 left in the first quarter was the first touchdown TCU surrendered in four October games and a span of 199:48. It was the first touchdown by a Horned Frog opponent since SMU scored with 11:24 remaining in a 41-24 TCU win on Sept. 24.
*TCU ran its MWC winning streak to 13 in a row. The Horned Frogs have won 21 of their last 22 games in conference play since dropping a 27-22 decision to BYU on Nov. 8, 2007. The only loss in that stretch was a 13-10 defeat at Utah on Nov. 6, 2008.
*The Horned Frogs have won 19 straight home games, also a school record. In five home contests this season, TCU has outscored its opponents 156-17. Since 1999, TCU is 61-6 in its last 67 home contests at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
*Tonight's attendance of 46,096 was the fifth-largest crowd in TCU history. Three of the five-largest crowds have come in TCU's last seven home dates.
*TCU's 377 yards rushing marked its highest output since gaining 390 in last year's 41-0 home victory over UNLV (Oct. 31, 2009).
*TCU won its 38th consecutive game when rushing (377) for more yards than passing (185).
*The Horned Frogs won their 47th straight game when rushing for at least 167 yards.
*TCU improved to 68-2 under Gary Patterson when allowing 17 points or less.
*The Horned Frogs held a 32:36 to 27:24 edge in time of possession and are now 48-2 in their last 50 games when leading in that category.
*TCU scored on its opening drive of the game for the fifth time (four touchdowns, one field goal) in eight games this season.
*TCU did not punt in the game for the first time since a 45-14 win at Colorado State on Nov. 25, 2006.
Individual Notes
*Ed Wesley rushed for a career-high 209 yards, the most in a game by a Horned Frog since Joseph Turner totaled 226 yards in 2007 at San Diego State. It's the first 200-yard game by a Frog since Turner against the Aztecs. Wesley had his fourth 100-yard game of the season and the fifth of his career. Wesley also had a career-best 28 carries.
*Andy Dalton had seven rushing attempts for a career-high 93 yards. His previous-best rushing total was 91 yards against Stanford in 2008.
*Dalton had a career-long 47-yard carry in the third quarter, nearly doubling his previous career best of 24 yards versus Boise State in 2008.
*Dalton's 93 yards rushing pushed him over the 1,500 career-yard mark. He's now at 1,550.
*Dalton's 5-yard touchdown run was his fourth rushing score of the season and 20th of his career, tying him with Aaron Brown (2005-08) and Robert Merrill (2003-05) for eighth on TCU's all-time list. Dalton ranks first among quarterbacks. He has surpassed his total of three rushing touchdowns from last season.
*Dalton surpassed 9,000 career yards passing on a 21-yard completion to Jimmy Young in the second quarter. He now has 9,092 career yards, adding on to his own TCU record.
*Young went over 2,000 career receiving yards with a 17-yard first-quarter catch from Dalton. Young, now with 2,034 yards, is the seventh Horned Frog to top the 2,000-yard mark.
*A 30-yard second-quarter field goal by Ross Evans made him 6-of-6 this season.
*A Bart Johnson first-quarter 25-yard reception extended his team-best and career-high streak to 30 consecutive games with at least one catch.
*Jeremy Kerley's 12-yard third-quarter reception pushed him over 1,000 career yards receiving. He's now at 1,006 yards. Kerley had two receptions for 20 yards.
*Offensive guard Spencer Thompson made his first career start. He was at left guard.
*Jeff Olson made his first start at right tackle. It was his second start of the season. He started at left tackle against Tennessee Tech.
